I was there, and it was super awesome.

Adenduming Friday. I remember why I had to start Cuddles & a Movie then. The Furry Femme Photoshoot I went to? Things were rolling along nicely, then suddenly it went from going down a list of people who signed up back to anyone can jump in. So, I had to wait to jump in for the individual shots of my suit. They turned out GREAT though! :D They are currently on my phone. I will get around to uploading them at some point.

Saturday I woke up and there was a sheep and a rubber calico in my bed. How fucking perfect could this morning have been? I am going to skip the morning part, but I will simply say this: When someone says, "You never know?" You really DON'T know. But man...when something wonderful happens...you're glad for the surprise. ANYWAY! :D After cuddling with Drake a bit on the bed, we both got in to a pair of t-shirt and jeans and decided to go down to the con floor. Though his schedule would have him pretty super busy the entire time, so I would 'barely' get to see him all day. I would not be sad...but I sure would be wishing that I had more of his company throughout the rest of the con.

BUT! I DID manage to snag him for lunch! :D Why? Because my old girlfriend, Merit showed up! She had Thrashercub and her friend (whos name I could never remember) along with. Thrashercub has...never met another single furry outside of me ... WELCOME TO FURTHER CONFUSION! XD We had lunch at Sprigs together and talked. It was good, but then I got 'everyone' to follow me up to the room so that we could expedite me getting my suit on. Why this time? Kahn's first ever fursuit parade!! :D Do you wanna know how many suits were at FC this year? OVER FIVE HUNDRED!! I tell you, when I saw the end picture all blown up and posted...you could see me! The top of my head! XD Towards the back. Funny enough, talking ot SlyCat later, I found out that he was like, almost arm's reach away from me in that photo. and we didn't even know it!

Speaking of suiters, since I am on the subject...Dandi DoLollie, Amsel's brand new goat fursuit, has to be THE CUTEST goat fursuit to date :D And I am NOT the only one that thinks that Sophie Cabra's fursuit markings look like she has a seamless diaper on ^.^ I am not alone!

The rest of this day was mostly me sleeping and hanging out till later in the night. Everyone helped me out of suit and I pretty much flopped over and slept. By the time I woke up I was alone. Merit, Thrashercub and Thrasher's friend had all departed. I wouldn't see them again for the con. At this point I forget what I did. I think I did more chilling and hanging out with people, because I didn't care about the Masqurade. Drake would get busy again so I wouldn't see him for awhile. (*sighs* I am really letting on to my strong infatuation with him aren't I) Later that night I would land up going to Raven's room, where he had his own party going on WHILE the Cub Pub was doing their party. I pretty much almost avoided going there because I don't give a shit if there's alcohol there, I don't wanna go to a party where that's the center of the idea. Babyfur hosted or not. But trust me...a bunch of sober babyfurs were having a HELLA good time up in 329. Raven DJed, then Cosi DJed, then ... I GOT TO DJ AGAIN! For LIVE, AND STREAMING LISTENERS!

Trust me when I say it all came back to me faster than you can say DJ Kahncub. I only had whatever was on Raven's laptop to work with but you know what? That was enough! He had plenty of good tunes! I also did a lot of dancing. Man, my body and feet were killing me so much, that when it came time for the main floor dance, I couldn't go out there in suit. I went in to my room, and laid on the bed to rest my feet. Then realized the rest of my body hurt. then just completely passed out asleep.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! Down to the wire, and there were still things to be done later Sunday night! So the first thing I did that morning, was I extended my stay one more night (before anyone says a word, no I didn't care that I paid the full price for one night. As a matter of fact when I did, it balanced out what I was looking to pay for a room anyway.) So got my room till Monday morning, but Tris by this point had moved all of her stuff down to Kae's room. Looks like this room's all mine now. I chilled for a bit with Koebi in the creator's lounge. Also got to talk to Genevieve, Amsel's friend. It was actually a good social moment there. Sunday would also be the day I would spend the only money that I would spend all weekend in the creator's lounge: For a Marci badge. HOLD IT!! Guess what? It's not for me this time! This one would be for 'Amsel!'

Earlier before the con, she was talking about wanting to get a Marci badge of her character. And at the time I was like hey, not a problem I'll get you squared away! (Because come on, I've stood in line at dealer's den opening to get to her table enough before she fills up that I am use to it.) Well, Marci raised her rates ... again. $40.00 for a full body badge, $5.00 for additional details. I didn't wanna fuck around not trying to make this as close to Amsel, the worsven as possible so I paid the extra details fee so that I could get it right. (Details artists tend to miss: Nose ring, ear piercings, 'X' markings with tape over the nipples, panties with a cross on them, and in some cases, her stripes.) The only thing I forgot to mention were the panties and the earrings. But guess what? Marci pulled through and did a PG, naked Amsel badge. The only thing 'I' noticed when I picked it up? I forgot to say black hair x.x Damnit. Ahh well. Amsel loved it, and that's what mattered in the end, really!

I get more Drake time, yay! This time around, we hit up the dealer's den and went over 'every' inch of it. Drake had never seen the entire FC dealer's den and all that was to be had there. While I was there though, for 1.5 seconds I managed to lock on to who Nakomis was IRL. Who, funny enough asked me not to approach them at the convention :p And here we pass by, arm's practically touching. I think shi saw who I was, and didn't make eye contact. Being the lady that I am, I respected hir wishes, and left hir be. While I was browsing with Drake, he showed me the artist that did his badges (the one I linked, and a brand new one.) They go by the name Farellemoon.

Farellemoon does some pretty cute stuff, so when I am not rocky anymore with the job situation I may be commissioning her in the near future. She seemed really sweet too, and seems to encourage babyfurs to commission her! FA: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/farellemoon/

The next artist we really liked is named Mirelmture. When me and Drake stopped by her table to see what she had, both our eyes lit right up. she does SUCH adorable art!! I had already spent my money in the dealer's den, but Drake had money for a couple commissions from her! Like Farellemoon, I plan on commissioning her as well, when I am not on a rocky job security. More socializing was done, and sometime after the badge I commissioned was finished, I found Amsel to give it to her. We decided we would do dinner @ 8 together since I had offered to take her out. This time we did NOT do Denny's. We did Chipotle this time around! I got to show how dumb I really am when it comes to menus that don't list ingredients. When we were ordering, I wanted a steak burrito with fresh tomato salsa. Since it said it was mild I thought 'that means its not hot!' Well I took a bit and was like hey wait...this tastes spicy. So I was like Amsel, why would the ingredients in this be hot? She had to spell it out that just because it says 'Fresh Tomato' doesn't mean it's 'not' spicy...because it's a 'salsa!' Feeling embarassed, I still continued to eat it. It was still good, just hot. We had an enjoyable conversation and then we head back to my room to chill for a bit. She also broke my sketch book's FC virginity, because I didn't get any artists to draw in it D: THANK YOU AMSEL!! Katze called and said he would like to see Amsel and that I could come up.

I hung out for a bit with GORE, Malice, Nate, Amsel and Katze. They were talking about the FNL and I couldn't say much because I wasn't there live. I wanted to watch it on FCTV. And I got to! Most of the acts were ehhh. I liked the dueling drummers actually. Actually at this point I moved on to Lauren and Shrag's room for a pizza party to watch the FNL on TV and hang out. I meant to tip Lauren and Shrag, but I found out my singles were NOT in my wallet :( Sorry guys I really intended to! I didn't stay long because I promised since before the con I would TOTALLY be attending the next party I am going to mention...

The Rubberfurs party! Holy shit I have NEVER seen this many rubber furs in a single room before. They had a dress code, so the nice lady at the door who was telling people I had to tell to get someone that I knew was there to vouch for me. they say, 'Hey! How come no suit??' I say, because I have no one to help me in to it! And almost in unison I hear GO GET IT!! Apparently multiple people were willing to help me in to it there XD Didn't bring the diaper or dress, just pump and suit. Koebi helped me get it all set up. Holy crap the reaction I got from everyone was AWESOME! Everyone loved it! It made me soooo happy. The guys that set it up got big BIG thanks from me before I left at 2AM. I stayed in suit a good two hours before getting out. 2AM I headed back to my room to sleep one more night in the Doubletree. One more night where this con would be for me. I didn't wanna go home...

Monday there's not much to say. I gave Lizzie back her bag of hair ties and clips, thanks to Drake reminding me what room number she is in, gave Drake a big hug before leaving (and he admitted I was a tad too clingy. Fuck, was I apologetic. I totally didn't mean to.) And I went home. That's all there is to it. I went home in a cab, dropped my stuff off and went to work. See bad news post to see what all happened today.

Overall though this was THE BEST convention for me EVER! I had SOOOOO much fun this con. I had to leave work early today due to the sickness really eating at me. Gonna PTO tomorrow because I feel like shit still and can't sleep.

Wednesday was a long ass fucking day at work. The minutes ticked by so fucking slowly as I waited patiently for my sweety, Tris and her friend Conrad to arrive and pick me up. That moment finally came at around 8:00PM PST. We picked up some stuff at Target then headed to the Doubletree, where we met up with Raven, Relena, Kae (AKA Meriel), Acidraven, Pooka, Kanji, Sabvriel, Corsi and Vash. when we got there, since these groups of people were separated in to three different rooms. The room with Pooka, Kae, Relena and Kanji were quite gracious enough to let us both spend a single night in their room, so we dropped our stuff off.

We all headed to Denny's (one of many many times to come) and had dinner, since almost all of these guys had just gotten off of a plane to come to the convention. Much fun was had, and much poking at Relena, Kanji and me was had. We found out after eating and getting our checks that for the entire duration of the convention, anyone attending Further Confusion would get a 10% discount! Fucking sweet! Making cheap, filling meals even cheaper :D We went back to the hotel and chilled in the room we were staying a night in. Tris's friend, Conrad left at about this point. This night ended 'fairly' early for all of us. (early being I think midnight, or 1AM)

Here we go! Thursday, the official start of the con for me and Tris. Registration for the actual convention would not be until much later in the afternoon. I woke up rather early this day, while everyone else slept. Went down and had a sammich and mocha at the Starbucks coffee stand. Ruben, who would be rooming with Sabvriel and Vash for the con saw me and started talking to me while I ate my breakfast. It was actually good to not have to eat alone. He also gave me something he won that would later on be used; he won an inflatable large Pokeball! Actually he won two of them. One of them he gave to me :)

After a bit more conversing I decided to head back up to the room and chill a bit with some of the people just now starting to wake up. Hung out and waited a bit longer because I was a bit antsy. I wanted to check in to the room Tris and I reserved eagerly. They said I couldn't really check in until 1PM. Fuck...what am I suppose to do till then? Oh I know! I'll head down to the lobby and chat for a bit with people I know coming in. I can't even remember who I ran in to to talk, but I know I got to talk to SlyCat! Contrary to what I initially though from some of his LJ posts to the Rubberfurs group (I thought he was a tad stand offish) He's actually quite the nice guy! I was pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong in what I thought. It's really true what they say...soemtimes text does not translate well to IRL. I didn't get to talk to him long but that's okay. I think I talked to a few others before finally, I got to check in!

Room 710, almost about as close to the Exectutive level of rooms you are going to get before actually being on the 9th floor. Tris and I immediately dropped her stuff off and I contemplated for a moment, thinking about what to do now. I think I went back down and hung out a bit more to talk to people.

Later on though was what would be something magical to happen. Tris helping me in to suit, dressing her, and then getting to go down on to the FC con floor for the first time. OH MY GOD! What a fucking exciting experience it was to be doing this! And this was only Thursday, mind you! The con hadn't even kicked in to officially starting yet! When I left the room I was nervous as all get out. Califur it was, not so bad. Because I was with Amsel, Katze and Statik at the time. And the con sucked...so I didn't get to do a whole lot in suit then. FC though...WHOOOLLLEEE different ball game. So many people enjoyed seeing me in suit! Some suiters wanted to be playful! One of them happened to be this one wolf fursuit at reg (reg line was not moving yet.)

Ruben came by with a fully inflated Pokeball and we just started playing catch. you'd think something so simple as playing catch with an inflatable ball wouldn't be a big deal. It's a lot more exciting when its two suiters playing with it *giggles.* I spent a good three hours in suit before finally telling Tris it was time to get out of it. Never in my life had I had that much fun with her. Another key moment that happened this day was me, in suit sitting at the bar with Sabvriel next to me. I got a water, he got a beer but the joke for me was Oh noes! They let a cub sit up at the bar! D: *giggles lots* I thought that was a funny concept, and no one seemed to bat an eye behind the bar. Contrary they were quite helpful in getting me two straws attached to one another so that I could drink from the glass easier.

Katze showed up to hang out and talk with Sab while I was in suit. I got to finally see his retaliation to my zombie Kahncub badge (the one where I am eating a piece of his neck from behind, ripping the flesh a bit.) He had Amsel draw a Katze badge with me, completely flat and slung over his shoulder. In his other hand, a rather large safety pin, opened. Well played Katze! Well played.

The rest of the day would progress after that as just a lot of socializing with people out of suit. Skipping on getting in reg line at 5PM for at con reg because...fuck that shit...they were going OUT the door. o__o Oh what did I do about that you may ask? Laziness prevailed actually...and I paid an extra $50.00 so that I could skip the line and get a sponsor badge. IMO the sponsor badge looked nicer than what the printed out badge choices were. But for the fuck all of it, I picked up the one made by Rubbertex Raccoon.

I can't remember much of Thursday, except a lot of socializing happened. UNTIL! Later that night around 10PM when I decided to order a pizza from Papa John's. An idea struck me because I wanted to watch a movie on the hotel's movie network (yes, I paid the stupid prices to rent the movies I did :P) The event? Cuddles & a Movie! I gathered a few friends of mine (Lauren Rivers, Bob Raccoon, Shrag (Lauren's mate.), Koebi and there was Tris of course.) Night #1 of this would begin with Death Race. I gotta say, I had been wanting to see it since before it hit theaters. And finally getting to see it, I was not disappointed. What did I watch the movie for? The fucking races of course! Learning the rules of the race was interesting too. And then seeing them happen I was like woah o.o that's bad ass! I especially liked Frank's car (the main character's car)

Lauren & Shrag had to go early, but believe me I was glad they could come and hang out. Bob stuck it out throughout the whole movie, and Tris fell asleep :P After the hour and 45 minute long movie I called it a night myself. Which will bring us to Friday.

Woke up Friday and just kinda laid in bed for a bit with Tris. We got up and had an early lunch down at Sprigs in the hotel. Thinking about it at this point, I realized it really was going to be the last FC that would be here at the Doubletree. Skipping a head just a tad I just wanted to state, there was finally confirmation this was the last one. Because FC signed a 5 year contract with the Fairmont in downtown San Jose. So for the next 5 years, its going to be there. I sure hope the hotel staff is as kick ass there as it was at the Doubletree. Back on track. Had an early lunch and just started roaming the con floor for people to hang out with. After about noon-ish, probably more like 1PM Tris helped me get back in to suit so that I could get my fursuit con badge photo taken. She's such a sweety, and a HUGE HUGE thank you goes out to her for all the times I asked her to help me in/out of it and spot me. Waited in line right behind Lauren, and got pounced by Red XIX and his mate! They were telling me just how much they LOVED my suit and could not stop hugging me ^__^ I love hugs! And hugs in suit feel really cool :D

I got the picture taken for the suit, and thinking about it...I didn't do a whole lot after this. I can't remember if this happened on Thursday or Friday so I'll put it here. One evening, Kanji, Relena, Kae, Tris and I were just hanging out and I was in suit. Kanji was affirming quite proudly about how she hates the cuddle pink...and cuddles. Zombie Kahncub came out to play! Initially all I was trying to do was hug her, smothering her in pink. But she started backing up going nooo! Noooo! So what did I do? I started zombie shuffling towards her! When she finally backed in to a wall, I latched on to her and made pretend that I was eating at her neck. Kanji totally played it up like she was being eaten. The crowd around me was excited and hysterical :D That was awesome :D

At some points in the day I met up with Kokurryu, Andy Squirrel (who I had talked to plenty of times on SL before but this was his first FC! So my first time seeing him) and Koebi. Andy initially got to see me in suit first before out of suit :3 He let me know how much he loved it before I headed back to get out of it ^.^ At some point I also got to run in to Lormyr, who runs the Black Gazza prison on Second Life (Check it out sometime, it moved to the sim I call home already!)

I was originally going to go do a Rock Band/Guitar Hero tourney this day. But as luck would have it, zero monitors, zero consoles and no equipment. So no event. Balls...now what? I guess I'll hang out with more people! And that didn't last too long before the PACS (Pizza and Cub Supplies) party started which was right down the hall from Kae & Raven's rooms. I got to meet quite a few new faces at this room. And honestly, throughout the con I had preference on this place's room due to it having no alcohol. I got to see Tamino again, which I have not seen in QUITE some time, and a fursuiter by the named of Yakeo, who's alos a babyfur (as shown by the badges) showed up! I, really didn't have any pizza at all there. I was moreso enjoying the social aspect of the event. So many babyfurs packed in to one room that I have known, met online, or have seen before in LJ posts showing up.

And then...he showed up. The one guy that I would literally be the most infatuated with the entire convention. Like an invisible force pulled me towards him; Drake. He came to the party in this fucking ADORABLE, custom fit purple velvet dress, with a lacey flowery strip over the torso, these WONDERFUL pigtails, done up with cute pink thick ribbons and little ribbon strips attached to it with paw pads, and enough blush to make it seem like he had a natural blush. I was instantly trying to figure out a way to approach him. And then I just did it. Complimenting him on his dress and his hair, and I LOVE his accent! He's from Vancouver and has a bit of a British accent to him. It made me a bit more attracted to him with that. There was one more thing he showed me underneath the dress that made me just melt in to a puddle of pink rubber from the cuteness. Pink diaper cover, ocer the FRILLIEST, pink cloth diaper I have seen, with a big pink bow on the butt, and a disposable underneath that. Talk about coming prepared!

I invited Drake up to my room and gave him my phone number and room number. I would be doing another Cuddles & a Movie and I wanted him to be there. I don't know what I did between then and the event, but it was about 10:30 that I officially decided to get things rolling. Tris was there, as well as my long time friend Lizzie! (Elizabetta. If you were there, she was the one with the lay on her head and the giant wooden spoon.) And Drake came too, in that adorable outfit of his! (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1663386 That's his character btw) Yyeeeahhh, I ordered another pizza and a soda for the room since the last one went so fast and well...I only ate half a slice. I uhm...kinda got distracted having the cutest sheep in the world in my arms, and his arms wrapped around me n.n While we watched Jet Li & Jackie Chan. BTW, this movie was totally a bad ass movie.

When the movie ended I well...I asked Drake if he would like to spend the night with me, since his room had a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on it. So he figured he should not go in there. So I got to sleep with him! :D And that ends Thursday.

You know what, fuck it, I am going to separate the rest to another post.

...and I ONLY just now found out! D: Go me!

Anyway, I am going to FC tomorrow (Thursday, January 22nd.) And I will be there till Sunday evening. Hope to see lots of people that have been looking forward to going :D

Figure I might as well use my blog here to talk a bit about what we're planning to do to the site. So in the unlikely event that anyone reads this, they'll be the first to know. :)

• Communities are currently in a pretty sorry state; as soon as we're done with FC we're going to look into revamping those, tying them in with the event system, and making things a lot more social.
• One of the things I'm really excited about is a fancy preferences-listing system, something like a combination of the MUCK wixxx feature and a furcode, with lots of input from users on what fields to use (And a LOT of fields)
• As an incidental note, we want to basically have all the same features LiveJournal does; friend groups, filtering. We already have a page to track friends' blogs, it's just a bit hard to find; try going to [shortname].furspots.com/friends (once some folks have written blog entries)

Any other feature requests anyone has are always appreciated, of course; use the Feedback link or just post a comment here.

It's a real, nice breath of fresh air to join forces with Furspots.

Anthroverse.com was a mild success for the past year until site activity bottlenecked. We reached a milestone shortly before the bottleneck. Anthroverse had more than 200 registered members, but the pace of registration had been agonizingly slow. Despite the fact that we even had advertisements that aired on FurAffinity's front page for a short time, registration rates decreased over time. The lack of activity then became disproportionate with the time spent on it.

But there is a much, more promising site in the works -- a site that I'm currently posting from. Furspots is a very warm, cozy yet simplistic social networking site and it shows a lot of promise.

I hope to help Crypto and the developers out as we move ahead.

All that's left is for Inaki to make some change in Furspots and announce it's beta. Why are we still sitting on Alpha? He told me I didn't need to ride his ass about his part, so what else could be holding him up besides work...

A little annoyed, but I'll get over it.

Well, if all goes accordingly Furspots will finally come out of Alpha, go in to beta and EVERYONE will be able to give out their own invite keys to the site! I'm glad things are finally moving on this site again! ^__^

I have now officially been hired by Inaki to be the one to kick Indi and Crypto in to gear on the Furspots project! And Crypto has asked me, after the site goes in to Beta to be a bug triager! I am quite excited, as I finally feel useful on this project :D When Inaki and Crypto told me about it back at Califur the ideas sounded wonderful! I intend to do everything in my power to help get this site moving, and get it to be something great :3

I am currently working on a new story! I fucking dislike the idea of posting new content to an unstable, under developed, over hyped site (FA), but I got nowhere else to post it. I could put it here. Heeyyy, that's a good idea! I could try to seek out a new bug by seeing if there's a character cap on blog posts :3

Today Amsel will be arriving in San Jose airport at 7:10PM (right as I get in the door.) I have her from tonight till Monday night. But man...today's gonna go by hella slow as the anticipation of her arrival wells up D: It'll be worth it though. So, I can't complain too much. Who am I kidding, I shouldn't complain at all, today's the day :D

Well more like three now but it's early enough still on this Sunday morning that I consider four days left X3 Four days until Amsel gets here! I can't wait to spend 6 days with her and one of them be all day at Folsom. I think the plan is to also hit up Fisherman's Wharf on one of those days. I know that we plan to hit up The Great Mall because she wants to 'really' get this pair of Converse knee high chucks she saw, and can't seem to find authentic ones anywhere else. That of course is assuming they have them in her size in store. But yeah. Hotel reserved for four nights, Folsom is going to be hella fun and I get paid again on Friday (of course that's also the check I gotta pay rent X3) 5 day weekend here I come!

I'm going to try making more posts to it (I said that last time, but why would I do that when no one's looking?) At work right now, was making a blog post on here and my one co-worker, who works the weekends with me noticed the blog's interface. I didn't even tell him what it was at first, but being that the guy pretty much knows all there is to know about me (and yes, is cool with everything and we keep it to ourselves X3) and he commented about how it was a really sweet interface. So I explained what the idea behind the site is, what FA is and how FA is garbage and he seems to support the idea behind Furspots! So keep up the good work guys! I'll be submitting more feedback as I feel necessary :3

So now that I can actually 'see' who else is using Furspots and not feel so isolated on this thing...I went through the list of public characters and just started friending every familiar name I knew. Here's hoping some of them friend me back! :D

My schedule will be changing at the beginning of September and now I finally have that schedule. Truth be told, the days I am working STAY THE SAME! It's just the times are changing now. So with that in mind I am going to give you the times I am working now...

Monday - Wednesday: 10AM - 7PM
Saturday & Sunday: 8AM - 5PM

This means I keep Thursdays and Fridays off. It also means that night shift is gone, so for things like playing CoV with Katze and Amsel I don't have to worry too much on weekdays about early start times. What else does this mean? It means for weekend plans like, say Folsom Street Fair coming up (as an example) I can bring people up on a Wednesday evening, swap weekend shift with someone and choose whether or not to work Monday or take PTO. So Folsom? No problem. FC? No problem. Trip to London? Still gotta have multiple PTO days off for that :P But anyway, this will work great for me!

I'm trying to test out everything on FurSpots! :D So far from everything that's been added its working so far. I will try to check here periodically to keep poking at random things, trying to get myself to routinely come here. Though what brings me more to keep coming to a site than updates :) Updates from friends! Now I know that not a lot of people are going to be on here that 'I' know but here's a public post! Awright! I'm enthusiastic about the FurSpots concept. It's like ecumenism for the furry subculture. Either that or it's like the Bavarian Illuminati, but with fewer dead Kennedey types.

Growth and a certain amount of splitting and rejoining are normal in any growing, dynamic subculture. So overall I'm not worried about furries. That said, the furry subculture does have some unique challenges facing it that I think will be well-addressed by having an epiphyte, service-linking type of site such as FurSpots.
